I was very sad to hear of Aunt Clara's passing. My visits to see all of you when we were young were happy times for me. Your mom was a wonderful lady who made me feel loved and cared for every time I saw her. I loved our grandparents very much and am reminded of them every time I see Willie and Bonnie and Drever and Roberta; they are so much like their parents. This is my favorite picture of your mom; I remember it from many years ago and was so happy to see her face again; just as I remembered it. She was lucky to have you all who cared for her- Bonnie shared with me with what faithfulness she was taken care of; that is remarkable. I will be thinking of you and grieving with you. Aunt Clara is with your Uncle RD and their parents- I like to imagine they are having a wonderful Christmas together. With love from your cousin in South Carolina.

Karen, Kevin and Kendall Please accept my deepest sympathies and know your mom was always the best aunt. Her smile and kind word was always there. If I had known I surely would have at least been at the funeral.

Karen, Kendall, and Kevin, I am saddened to learn of your loss and hope that you will find comfort and peace in the belief that your dear mother is now free, whole, and happy in the heavens. I remember Clara as a woman of strength and a fierceness in her love for her children and family. Her sharp wit and sense of humor made a lasting impression on me and I have fondly thought of her often over the years. Please know I extend sympathy and love to you all and hope that you are well and at peace.

Clara’s Family:: Love and prayers to each of you.. What a sweet and lovely lady and have known her for years... My late husband was Robert Hamlet and they were cousins as Robert’s mom was Lula Morton Hamlet... I had the pleasure of sending her a card weekly from Jonathan Falwell and got to write her a note and loved it...Much love and prayers!!
