Cynthia Williams Wyman, 77, of Gladys, passed away Monday, February 5, 2017 at Lynchburg General Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband, Warren Leslie Wyman.
Cynthia was born in Campbell County, October 4, 1940 a daughter of the late Lawrence Hudnell Williams and Mildred Sowell Williams. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, “His Glorious Gals” Red Hat Society, and a member of the American Legion #52 Auxiliary. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker and did extensive care giving to children and the elderly.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by three wonderful girls, Janice W. White (Robbie), Leslie W. Angel (Earl) all of Gladys and Sharon W. Lloyd (Bobby Dale) of Nathalie; seven grandchildren, Joshua Hearly White, James Warren White (fiancée Mandi), Laura LaFrance (Jacob), Paul Anthony Davis (Bre), Jonathan Dale Lloyd (fiancée Shanell), Earl Bailey Angel, Jr., Jennifer A. Angel (fiancé Jacob); four great-grandchildren, Kayden, Jaxon, Finley, and Huntley; two brothers, Lloyd Williams, L. H. Williams, Sr. (Barbara) all of Gladys; two sisters, Norma Jean Holt (Elton) of Phenix, Dale Britton of Gladys. She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Oaklyn Lloyd; and a brother John A. Williams.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. Jamie Adams and the Rev. Johnny Roberts with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the residence and after the service in the church fellowship hall.
