Darla Francis Holt, 52, of Brookneal passed away Friday, January 14, 2022 at home. Darla was born in Halifax County, March 22, 1969 daughter of the late James Aaron Holt and Eunice Caroline Francis Holt. She attended Sharon United Methodist Church and was a former employee of American Plastics. She is survived by two daughters, Lindsay Crews, Emily Crews Guthrie (Brandon) all of Brookneal; six granddaughters, Morgan, Alexis, and Leanna Johnson, Maci Crews, Huntleigh and Presley Guthrie; one grandson, Andrew Larue; significant other, Ray Hancock; two sisters, Debra Francis (Gene), Dorita Smith (Billy); one brother, Jamie Holt all of Nathalie; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Breedlove. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Billy Swan. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at the residence other times.
