Cynthia Louise Byrum Holt, 66, of Ringgold passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Piney Forest Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of William “Bill” Howell Holt. Mrs. Holt was born in Suffolk, November 17, 1955, the daughter of her beloved stepmother, Joanne Byrum, and the late William Thomas Byrum and Joan Fulcher Byrum. She was a Mary Kay Consultant and caregiver. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, William Nicholas Holt (Brandy Hawkins) of Charlotte C.H.; a daughter, Philippa Dawn Holt (Brandon D. Overstreet) of Danville; six grandsons, Gabriel Dunovant, Jonathan T. Adkins, Jakob, and Alastair Overstreet, Tanner E. Holt, Hayden W. Mills; four granddaughters, Trinity and Ocean Overstreet, Emma-Gray Mills, Madison E. Amos; a brother, Garey W. Byrum (Nancy); two sisters, JoAnn Byrum Holt (Keith), Betty Byrum Bailey (Randy); other loved step siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Roger Ewing with interment to follow at Roanoke Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will also receive friends at the home of her son on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until and at the home of her daughter other times.
