Obituaries

Marcina Burnett Rawlings, 49, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at home. Marcina was born in Lynchburg, May 22, 1974, daughter of the late Harold Burnett and Linda Jamerson Cooke. She was a loving Mother and a Registered Nurse for eighteen years. She is survived by three daughters, Ashleigh Wilson (Steven) of Gladys, Skylar Bell (Tyson), and Aryan Rawlings all of Rustburg; one grandchild, Mila Wilson; and paternal grandmother, Lorraine Harris of Brookneal. Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” A memorial service will be held at a later date.
