Mary Ann Maxey Clements, 70, of Gladys passed away January 4, 2022 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of Billy Richard Clements. Mrs. Clements was born in Campbell County, March 4, 1951, daughter of the late Walter Lee Maxey and Flossie Mann Maxey. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Clements is survived by a son, Everette M. Lane Jr. of Lynchburg; A daughter Teresa Hibbard (Phil) of Gladys; six grandchildren, Ashley Lane, Joshua Carr, Mary Beth Carr, Everette Lane III, Shaun Lane, Tylor Lane; nine great-grandchildren, and a sister, Shirley Childress of Lynchburg. She was proceeded in death by a brother, Robert Maxey. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
