Roger Lee Morton, 62, of Nathalie passed away December 20, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of Judy Bomar Morton. Roger Lee Morton was born, August 31, 1959, son of the late Martin Reed Morton and Laura Louise Mason Morton. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and a Farm manager of Phelps Creek Farm. He is survived by three brothers, Leonard Reed Morton of Rustburg, Charles Morton of Brookneal, David Morton (Karen) of Gladys; Father in-law Howard Bomar; Brother in-law Tim Bomar (Cindy); sisters in-law Eleanor Lewis and Susan Bomar. Two special friends Chad Francis and Dale Henderson And a number of nieces and nephews. He is proceeded in death by a brother in-law, Wayne Bomar. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 in the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor W.L. Pillow with interment to follow at Beulah Baptist Church cemetery.
