Billy Smith, 63, of Nathalie, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital. He was the husband of Dorita Holt Smith. Billy was born in Halifax County on September 26, 1960, a son of Benny William Smith (Sandy) and the late Barbara Hempen Castillo. He owned and operated William Smith Concrete Services. Billy was a member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by a special nephew: Michael Finley of Nathalie and three sisters: Kathy Dalton of Gretna, Pat Harker (Mark) of Owensboro, KY and Chasity Comer of Crystal Hill. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Castillo. A memorial service will be held in the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17, 2024, with the Rev.
