Nell M. Pennell

Nell Moorefield Pennell passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at home.

Nell was born in South Boston, March 30, 1959 a daughter of Walter Jackson Moorefield of Nathalie and the late Nell Cook Moorefield. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Republican Grove and a former employee of Thomasville Furniture Co.

She is survived by two brothers, Allen Moorefield (Angie) of Brownsville, TX, Michael Moorefield (Deborah) of Nathalie; four sisters, Jean Waller (Bill) of Nathalie, Patty Seamster , Judy Wolfe (Arnold) all of Brookneal, Cindy Roark of Gladys; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Poole and Dale Dalton.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Millstone Cemetery by the Rev. Shelton Miles.
