Jack Everett Willis

Jack Everett Willis, 79, of Brookneal passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Jack was born in Coeburn, February 5, 1937, son of the late Samuel Willis and Mabel Smith Willis. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a retired clergyman.

He is survived by a son, Michael K. Willis of Haymarket; two daughters, Tammy W. Maxey of Brookneal, and Christy W. Moon (Owen) of Phenix; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Union Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. Cliff Jordan.
