Betsy F. MacCord

Betsy Fleshman MacCord passed away December 14, 2016. She was the wife of the late Col. Howard A. MacCord Sr. and the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth Fleshman.

She is survived by a son, Howard MacCord Jr. (Alison) of Greensboro, N.C.; two daughters, Helen MacCord Winn (Jack) of Richmond, Virginia MacCord Matthews (Harry) of Mouth of Wilson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Linda Fleshman of Daleville; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and forever friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Hat Creek Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Donna Hopkins Britt.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
