Dawn Renee Peak Mills

Dawn Renee Peak Mills, 37, of Lynchburg passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.

Dawn was born in Lynchburg, October 8, 1982 a daughter of Glen Peak of Bedford and June Adkins Overstreet (Calvin) of Brookneal.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by five children, Jasmine Argenbright, and Cameron Mills both of Hurt, Mary Jane Mills of Vinton, Layla and Lilly Mills; one sister, Whitney Chase Petrie (Orion) of Floyd; one brother, Carl Vendetti, IV of Lynchburg; grandparents, Gladys and James Adkins, and Ray Peak all of Rustburg. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Stephanie Peak; and step grandfather, Ronald Nelson Overstreet “Pop Pop”.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Mike Teixeira.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal.
