Shelley Crabtree Francis

Shelley Crabtree Francis, 61, of Brookneal passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was the wife of David Allen Francis.

Shelley was born in Halifax County, March 6, 1960, daughter of Annie Mae Laughlin Crabtree of Brookneal and the late Randolph Buddy Crabtree. She was a member of Brookneal United Methodist Church and owner of Distinctively Done DeSigns.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Allen Laughlin Francis (Kristen) of Roanoke City; a brother, Kelly Alan Crabtree (Terri) of Brookneal; a sister-in-law, Wanda Parker (Jason) of Nathalie; a special niece and nephew, Jasmine P. Francis (Wes) of Blairs, Christopher Parker (Anna) of Concord, N.C.; great niece and nephew, Leah Parker and Parker Francis; three nephews who were like sons to her, Cory, Alex, and Randy Crabtree.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family will receive friends at the home.
