Shann Allen Hancock

Shann Allen Hancock, 40, of Nathalie passed away Monday, September 6, 2021. He was the husband of Brandee Taylor Hancock.

Shann was born in Halifax County, March 8, 1981, son of the late Dean Allen Hancock and Wanda Richardson Hancock. He was a logger.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Cory S. Hancock (Emily) of Nathalie, Colby A. Hancock of South Boston; a daughter, Cara A. Hancock (fiancé Trevor Seamster) of Wylliesburg; a granddaughter, Willa J. Seamster; three uncles, Mark Richardson, Louis Hamlett, Kenneth Hancock; niece, Haley Edmonds. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sabrina Hancock Lacks.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Phillip Wright with interment to follow in the Hamlett Family Cemetery.

The family will visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
