Robert Eugene Howell

Robert Eugene Howell, 73, of Brookneal passed away at home on Thursday, November 3, 2022. He was the husband of the late Betty Jean Godsey Howell.
Robert was born in Moorehead City, N.C. on November 16, 1948, the son of the late Dewey Howell and the late Clara Dunn Howell. He was of the Baptist faith. He retired from Foster Fuels.
He is survived by a son Jerry Howell and a daughter Sheila Canody both of Spout Spring; two grandchildren Ryan and Casey Howell both of Lynchburg; sisters-in-law Janice Sowell and Dorothy Godsey both of Gladys and Nancy Jordan of Brookneal; a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Wickliffe Cemetery, Brookneal .
