Darrell Grey Francis, Sr., 65, of Brookneal, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at his home.
Darrell was born in Campbell County on March 8, 1959, a son of the late Tracy Glenn Francis and the late Louise Crews Francis. He retired from the VA Dept. of Transportation and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a son, Darrell Grey Francis, Jr. of Brookneal, a sister, Kaye F. Campbell of Concord and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald Wayne Francis and Lawrence Earl Francis.
A graveside service will be conducted by Kenneth Jennings at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Childrey Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
