Betty Ann Dalton Fisher, 72, of Brookneal, passed away at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
Born in Lynchburg on July 9, 1953, Betty Ann was the daughter of the late Price T. Dalton and the late Margaret Inez Fallen Dalton. She was of the Baptist faith and was employed at The Colonial Restaurant.
Betty Ann is survived by a son, Duston Chad Montgomery (Susan) of Brookneal; four grandchildren, Makayla Montgomery, Kelby Trent, Trysten “Davanna” Trent, Degan-Leigh Trent; three great grandchildren, Paislee Montgomery, Camdyn Condrey, Kalani Hubbard; a brother, Ralph Dalton of Brookneal; and nephews, Dale Dalton and Evan Hodnett.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shanna Jaclyn Montgomery Kidd, sister, Linda Gale Dalton Hodnett, niece, Megan Lee Hodnett, and nephew, Chris Dalton.
A funeral service will be conducted by Rufus Dickerson on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Wickliffe Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in HFH Chapel.
