Welford Hamlet Whitlow

Welford Hamlet Whitlow, 88, of Brookneal passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at home. He was the husband of Freida Hamlet Whitlow.

Mr. Whitlow was born in Charlotte County, January 5, 1933, son of the late John Phillip Whitlow and Grovene Harper Whitlow. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and a farmer.

In addition to his wife, he survived by two sons, Phillip Whitlow (Donna), and Kyle Whitlow (Jane) all of Phenix; one daughter, Anita Whitlow of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Luke Whitlow (Presley), Ben, John and Charlotte Whitlow.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 9, 2021 at Providence Baptist Church, Red House, by the Rev. Duane Shepard and the Rev. Chris Kesler with interment to follow in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
