Audrey Stevens Fisher

Audrey Stevens Fisher, 83, of L. P. Bailey Memorial Highway, Nathalie passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Commonwealth Senior Living in South Boston. She was the wife of the late DeWitt Ray Fisher.

Mrs. Fisher was born in Campbell County, August 10, 1938, daughter of the late Jack Thomas Stevens and Maude Layne Stevens. She was member of Republican Grove Methodist Church during her adult life and of Falling River Baptist Church during her youth. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed flower gardening, playing piano, and antiques.

She is survived by one son, Gregg D. Fisher of Greensboro, N.C.; two daughters, Lisa F. Fisher (Bobby) of Nathalie, Susan F. Scott (David) of Gretna; four grandchildren, Priscilla F. Rohrer (Allen) of Harrisonburg, Marilyn V. Fisher of Sterling, Caitlin H. Fisher of Raleigh, N.C., Grayson D. Fisher of Winston-Salem, N.C. She was preceded in death by an older sister, Kathryn S. Collins.

A private graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Falling River Baptist Church Cemetery.
