Yvonne Shorter

Yvonne Shorter, 85, of Appomattox passed away February 11, 2022 at Babcock Manor, Appomattox.

Ms. Shorter was born in Campbell Co. August 29, 1936, daughter of the late Paul McKinney Shorter and the late Mabel Overstreet Shorter. Ms. Shorter was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two brothers, Norwood P. Shorter of Brookneal, Ellis M. Shorter of Gladys; one sister, Nona S. Powell of Richmond.

Preceded in death by three brothers Clanton A. Shorter, John H. Shorter, Marvis C. Shorter

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 18, 2022 in the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church cemetery.
