Bobby Dan Jennings

Bobby Dan Jennings, 81, of Lynchburg passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at home. He was the husband of Linda Ashwell Jennings.

Bobby was born in Appomattox, July 4, 1940, son of the late Fredrick Jennings and Martha Pankey Jennings. He was a former truck driver.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Faye Bryant of Crewe, Annette Beals of Hurt, Angela Martin (Troy) of Goode, Terri Hendricks of Lynchburg, Jackie McGehee (Ben) of Goode; a son, Bobby D. Jennings, Jr. (Michelle) of Richmond; 10 grandchildren, Jonathon Robertson, Daniel Byrant, Jamie Anderson, Jessica Jennings, Josh Bryant, Fredrick Mays, Olivia Martin, Ercel Elkins, Gabriel and Caroline McGehee; four great-grandchildren, Lilly and Emory Anderson, Walker Whitlock, and Camden Elkins; one brother, Wayne Jennings (Linda) of Appomattox; one sister, Nancy Hendricks of Brookneal. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Handy, and Barbara Gilbert.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Norwood Baptist Church by Pastor Sam Stump.
