Betty Colbert Colley

Betty Colbert Colley, 87, of Brookneal passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Earl Colley, Jr.

Betty was born in Naruna, December 27, 1934 a daughter of the late Lester Colbert and Lottie Tuck Colbert. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Kenneth E. Colley (Judy) of Eureka, W. Lynn Colley of Brookneal,
J. Carroll Colley (Olga) of Arlington; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlotte and Beulah; two brothers, Anthony and Preston.

A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at her home other times.
