Ray Brent Webber, 77, of Brookneal, peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at Runk & Pratt in Forest.
Mr. Webber was born in Portsmouth, VA, November 14, 1944, a son of the late John A. Webber and the late Eunice Markham Webber. He was a member of Brookneal Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam era. He published a book of poetry, loved reading and also loved traveling to other countries.
He is survived by two nephews: Brian Webber and Steve Webber; and a niece, Brenda W. Bentley; and several great nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by two brothers: John Marvin Webber and Lowell Keith Webber.
A graveside service will be conducted by Reverend William Burleigh on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Wickliffe Cemetery.
