William Thomas Harris, 82, of Nathalie passed away peacefully at home Monday, October 10, 2022. He was the husband of the late Eleanor Francis Harris.
Mr. Harris was born in Campbell County February 2, 1940, the son of the late William Dallas Harris and the late Blanch Mae Walker Harris. He was of Baptist faith. He was a former employee of Burrus Lumber Co.
He is survived by a son, William David Harris of South Boston; two daughters, Valerie Satterfield of Hurt and Jennifer Satterfield (Doug) of Gretna; a sister, Mamie Seamster of Nathalie; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Allen Harris and a brother, James Arthur Harris.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Andrew Reisburg at First Baptist Church of Millstone Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2022. The family will receive friends following the service and at the Harris home at other times.
