Paul Jones Francis, 79, of Nathalie passed away Monday, November 14, 2022 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.
Paul was born in South Boston, August 30, 1943, a son of the late John Thomas Francis and Ella Mae “Judy” Pierce Francis. He was a self-employed carpenter.
He is survived by six sons, Paul Francis, Jr. (Angie) of Brookneal, Victor Francis (Linda Arthur) of Gladys, Nelson Francis (Wanda) of Keysville, James Francis, John Francis both of Chatham, Winferd Francis (Niki) of Brookneal; 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Stanley, David, Glen and Howard Francis; four sisters, Vernelle Ford, Rose Anne Butler, Donna Marie Owen, and Faye Elder. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Vanda and Billy Francis.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022 at Halifax Memorial Gardens in South Boston by the Rev. Andrew Reisburg.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home.
