Phyllis Clay Byron, 88, of Charlotte Court House passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Southside Community Hospital. She was the wife of Glenn Lelan Byron.
Mrs. Byron was born in Kentucky, June 2, 1935 a daughter of the late Floyd Wesley Clay and Laura Tomblin Clay.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Glenn Lelan Byron II (Beverly) of Texas, James Floyd Byron (Tammy) of Florida; a daughter, Kimberly B. Rabeau (Jeffrey) of Charlotte Court House; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by ten siblings.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Grace Community Church in Charlotte Court House by the Rev. Robert Perrin.
