Catherine Elizabeth Kresment, 79, of Brookneal, passed away at Virginia Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
Catherine was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 25, 1945, a daughter of the late Ferdinand Edward Kresment and the late Catherine Edith Peterson Kresment. She was of the Lutheran faith and had worked for Noxell Corporation.
She is survived by two nieces: Rebecca Pannell (Marion) of Aspen and Kelly Pressley (Jimmy) of Aspen; a stepsister, JoAnn Cox and a number of great nieces and nephews.
Catherine was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Jean Humphrey and two brothers, Ferdinand “Butch” Kresment and William “Billy” Kresment.
