Barbara Elder Trent, 85, of Brookneal passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016. She was the wife of the late William Henry Trent.
Mrs. Trent was born in Campbell County, March 10, 1931 daughter of the late Cubert Homer Elder and Nora Henderson Elder. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Patsy Burrell of Weaverville, N.C. and Peggy Gale Nick (Paul) of Brown Summit, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Union Hill Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Reggie Warren.
