Elizabeth “Betty” Cornman Brooks, 83, of North Chesterfield passed away Monday, June 11, 2108 at home. She was the wife of the late Francis Garland Brooks. Mrs. Brooks was born in the city of Philadelphia, May 5, 1935, daughter of the late William C. Cornman and Mildred Merman Cornman. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Allen (Welton) of Chesterfield; a son, William F. Holland (Linda) of Gladys; two granddaughters, Kaylah Allen and Angela Holland; special friend, Sammy Barlow of Chesterfield. She was preceded in death by two sons, Bruce and Michael Holland. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by George Jackson and George Hensley. The family will receive friends at noon prior to the service at the funeral home and at the residence of Billy and Linda Holland, Gladys other times.
