Bevin Blaine Pollard, 61, of Lynchburg, passed away at home on Monday, January 6, 2025. Bevin was born in Lynchburg on June 25, 1963, a son of the late Bobby Gene Pollard and Patricia Hamlett Burstein. In addition to his mother and stepfather, Nissen Burstein, Bevin is survived by siblings, Pam Jones (Thomas) of Phenix, Tonia Finger (Eric) of Rustburg, Christina Sparks of New Jersey, Tony Barksdale (Diane) of Keysville, Michael Burstein (Lisa) of Lynchburg and Phyllis Snyder (David) of Levittown, PA. He was preceded in death by brother, Barry Wayne Pollard, sisters Brandy Kay Pollard and Lisa Mandell, and stepmother, Kay Pollard. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Mike Teixeira (Due to weather conditions) on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 10, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel.
