Burnace Franklin Tuggle, 75, of Nathalie, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 31, 2025. He was the husband of Carolyn Fallen Tuggle for 55 years. Born in Halifax County on March 13,1950, Franklin was the son of the late Burnace Junior Tuggle and the late Reva Ann Roark Tuggle. He retired from Swisher Tobacco Company and was a member of Childrey Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Franklin is survived by two sons, Brad A. Tuggle and Joey L. Tuggle (Chrystene), both of Nathalie; grandchildren Kameron Tuggle, Laiken Tuggle and Jordan Keith Tuggle; siblings, Bruce A. Tuggle (Cathy), Darryl P. Tuggle and Deborah Ann Tuggle, all of Nathalie; and two special nieces, Ashley Tuggle and Holly Saunders. He will be missed by his shaggy companion Snuggle. He was preceded in death by a son, Keith Franklin Tuggle. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Jerry Stanfield on Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Childrey Baptist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and at the home other times. Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Brookneal is assisting the family.
