Cary Wilbun Lollis of La Plata, Md. passed away August 2, 2014 at Abby Manor Assisted Living. She was the wife of the late L. Gordon Lollis. Mrs. Lollis was born in Charlotte county, April 30, 1918 daughter of the late Richard J. Wilbun and Mary Agnes Dixon Wilbun. She is survived by one daughter, Nan L. Stout of La Plata, Md.; one son, Thomas G. Lollis of Waldorf, Md.; one grandson, Ryan C. Stout of Charlotte, N.C. She was preceded in death by one sister, Turner Howerton and eight brothers, Robert, Sylvester, Clifton, Johnny, Innes, Oliver, Carlton, and Thomas. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, August 9, 2014 at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church by the Rev. Mike Teixeira. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until service time in the church sanctuary and following the committal service in the church fellowship hall.
