Celia St. John Claybrook, 82, of Lynchburg passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at home. She was the wife of the late Carl Edward Claybrook. Mrs. Claybrook was born in Charlotte County, December 20, 1935 a daughter of the late William Norman St. John and Rosa Martin St. John. She was a member of Staunton River Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Darren C. Claybrook of Lynchburg; a daughter, Trilvia C. Wrenn (Tommy) of Stem, N.C.; a granddaughter, Crystal Claybrook of Lynchburg. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam C. Dodd; two sisters; and two brothers. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 at Staunton River Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Rick Dillinger. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
