Connie Davis Deaner, 45, of the Deaner Family Farm, Brookneal passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at home. She was the wife of John Calvin Deaner. Connie was born in South Boston, March 8, 1970 daughter of Betty Pittman Davis of Nathalie and the late Arnie Lee Davis Jr. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one daughter, Ayla K. Deaner of Brookneal; three step-children, Michael and Justin Deaner of Brookneal, Jonathan Deaner (fiancée, Ashleigh) of Newport, TN; two brothers, Arnie Davis of Lynchburg, Cleve Davis (Angie) of South Boston; two sisters, Bonnie Hamlett (friend Donnie) of Danville; Donna Wazeka (Donald) of Clover; mother and father-in-law, Carol and Shelby Deaner of Brookneal. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Shelton Miles. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30 pm Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal and at the residence other times.
