Cynthia Kay Crews, 75, of Gladys, formerly of Acorn Rd. Nathalie, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. She was the wife of the late Joe William Crews. Born in Lynchburg, Va. on June 11, 1950, Kay was the daughter of the late Wylie N. Williams and the late Mary Louise Mason Williams. She was a member of Staunton River Baptist Church and was a former employee of Basset Walker and retired from Brookneal Milling Company. Kay is survived by a son, Dale Crews of Gladys; a daughter, Crystal Gayle Crews of Gladys; five grandchildren, Alex Evans, Makenzie Davis, Kasey Crews, Mallory Bradley, Hailey Crews; three great-grandchildren Malana, Faith, J.J.; a sister-in-law, Becky Perkins, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wylie Bruce Williams. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at her son’s home at other times.
