Danny Wayne Miller, 63, of Gladys passed away Monday, May 14, 2018 at Guggenheimer Health and Rehab. He was the husband of Wanda Sue Davis Miller. Danny was born in Lynchburg, June 15, 1954, the son of Louise Roach Miller of Evington and the late Paul Jonathan Miller. He was a retired employee of the Virginia Department of Transportation in Gladys. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Julie Anderson (Curtis “Pete”), Kathy Swecker (Mark) all of Evington; one brother, Dennis Miller (Shirley) of Altavista, a brother and sister-in-law, Chick and Barbara Carwile of Gladys; a devoted friend, Bobby Howard; loving dog Axel; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Etta Louise Wells. A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Henderson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m. prior to and following the service at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal.
