David Lynn Seamster, 75, of Nathalie, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 9, 2024. He was the husband of the late Irma Dawson Seamster. David was born in Virginia on December 22, 1948, a son of the late John W. Seamster and the late Ruth Hawkins Seamster. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Thompson Insulation. He is survived by his two daughters, Christie S. Carr and Michelle S. Pulliam (Derek), all of Nathalie; five grandchildren, Cailee Carr, Emily Carr, Chloe Carr, Hannah Whitlow and Hunter Pulliam; and a sister, Jo Carol Goodwin of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by two brothers, J. W. Seamster and Fred Seamster. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Henderson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter Michelle and Derek at other times.
