Eleanor Francis Harris, 75, of Nathalie passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 in Lynchburg. She was the wife of William Thomas Harris. Mrs. Harris was born in Halifax County, February 12, 1940 daughter of the late Hammond Francis Jr. and Lelia Cash Francis. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Bassett-Walker Co. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael Allen Harris of Nathalie, William David Harris of South Boston; two daughters, Valerie Satterfield, Jennifer Satterfield (Doug) all of Gretna; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clark Francis of Taylor, Mich, Kenneth Francis of South Boston; one sister, Rebecca Hogan of Halifax. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Faith Baptist Church by the Rev. James Keys with interment to follow The First Baptist Church of Millstone. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal and at the residence other times.
