Ethel Innis Trent Franklin, 94, of Lynchburg passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Accordius Health at Lynchburg. Mrs. Franklin was born in Charlotte County, October 10, 1925 a daughter of the late Jessie Innis Trent and Susan Anne Trent. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Appomattox, a nurse and hairdresser. She is survived by two sisters, Eunice Garrett of Brookneal, and Anne Alford (James) of Charleston, S.C. She was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Elder; and a brother, Robert Trent. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2019 at Falling River Baptist Church by the Rev. Matt Killmon with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
