Evelyn Louise Clinton Dunbar, 91, of Brookneal passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Brookneal.  She was the wife of the late Marshall Nelson Dunbar, Sr. Mrs. Dunbar was born in Connecticut, September 14, 1926, daughter of the late Lewis Raymond Clinton and Mary Jacques Clinton. She is survived by three daughters, Evelyn Dunbar Webb (John) of Lynchburg, Geralyn Dunbar-Giles (Kenneth) of Brookneal, and Carolyn Dunbar-Castelnuovo (Thomas) of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Jenianne Holzhauser (Chad), Heather Coolbaugh (Todd), Nina Castelnuovo Nagel (Daniel) and Laura Castelnuovo; four great-grandchildren, Matthew and Savana Zimmerman, Marshall and Mollie Coolbaugh.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Gerald and George Dunbar. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Larvail Jones. The family will receive friends following the service at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal and at the residence of Evelyn and John Webb, Lynchburg other times.
