Fulton Lee Wells, 65, of Thornton Jim Trail, Nathalie passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 at home. He was the husband of Margaret Pennell Wells. Mr. Wells was born in Halifax County, June 10, 1949 a son of the late Willis Henry Wells and Ella McKenney Wells. He is survived by two sons, Fulton L. Wells, Jr. of Phenix, Willis M. Wells of Nathalie; five daughters, Irene W. Richardson (Keith) of Nathalie, Patsy G. Wells of Brookneal, Della Mae Pennell of Clover, Nancy M. Wells of Wilmington, N. C., Linda K. Wells of Brookneal; eighteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Shirley W. Hancock of Lynchburg, Mary Ellen Beadles of Nathalie, Marie Seamster of Scottsburg, Patty Wells of South Boston. He was preceded in death by a brother, William R. Wells; and a sister, Nancy W. Beadles. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in Clover Bottom Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Joe Lively. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:30 pm Monday, September 1, 2014 at Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal.
