Gladys Hilda Sheppard Beauchamp, 91, of Brookneal passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. Mrs. Beauchamp was born in Naruna, October 8, 1927, a daughter of the late Booker Gordon Sheppard and Gaynelle Guthrie Sheppard. She was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, a member Sharon United Methodist Church and a retired employee of the Bibb Company. She is survived by a son, Charles Vincent Beauchamp (Carolyn) of Wilmington, N.C.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Gayle Beauchamp; and a son, Carl Vernon Beauchamp; four brothers; and two sisters. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Sharon United Methodist Church cemetery by Dr. Dick Daily.
