Herbert Hanon Moses, III, 77, of Rustburg, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth Carolyn Hailey Moses. Born in Lynchburg on August 20, 1948, Herbert was the son of the late Herbert Hanon Moses, Jr. and the late Sadie Jones Moses. He was a member of New Chapel Baptist Church. He was a veteran with the U.S. Army and retired from Southern Air. Herbert is survived by two daughters, Laura Hall (Matt) and Jennifer Moses (Larry Clay), all of Rustburg; three grandchildren, Dagan Hall (Gracie Wiley), Megan Hall and Hailey Moses; one great grandchild, Jackson Hall; and a brother, Floyd Moses of Rustburg. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Tim Dooley at New Chapel Baptist Church on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Campbell County Rescue Squad.
