Howard Bradshaw Francis, 77, of Nathalie passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. Howard was born in Danville on November 8, 1947, a son of the late John Thomas Francis and Ella Mae Pierce Francis. He was a retired farmer and a self-employed contractor. He is survived by one son, Howard Eugene Francis (Wanda) of Nathalie, a daughter, Tricia Crews (Bill) of Nathalie; four grandchildren, Jonathon Francis (Chelsey Throckmorton), Courtney Francis, Cameron Crews, Brooke Crews; five great grandchildren, Peyton Francis, Nathaniel Rouff, Tessa Jones, Levi Traynham, Parker Francis; siblings David Francis, Vernelle Ford, Rose Ann Butler, Donna Marie Owen, and Faye Elder. He was preceded in death by brothers, Paul, Glen, Vanda, Billy and Stanley Francis. A funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Shelton Miles and Rev. Zak Ford at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Republican Grove. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service and at other times at the home of Eugene and Wanda Francis.
