Kathy Anne Kelting Trzcinski, 69, of Phenix passed away peacefully at home Saturday, July 12, 2025. Born in New York on January 7,1956, Kathy was the daughter of Chester L. Kelting and the late Anne Evelyn Wisesenecker Kelting. Kathy was a Registered Nurse at Southside Community Hospital. She also was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. Kathy was survived by two sons, Richard A Horger of Keysville, John A. Trzcinski Jr. (Victoria) of Ridge, New York; two daughters, Laura M. Trzcinski of Drakes Branch, Katelyn R. Brooks (Daniel) of Ridge, New York; seven grand children, Adonis Robertson, Hadrian Horger, Wade Brooks, Reagan Brooks, Otto Brooks, Jocelynn Trzcinski, and Gianna Trzcinski; siblings, Luanne Fortin of Charlotte Courthouse, Chester Kelting, Jr.(Galina) of New York, and Nancy Brennan of Texas. Kathy was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda DeBono and Karen Kelting A memorial service will be conducted Monday, July 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.by Pastor Mike Teixeira at Mt.Carmel United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel U.M.C. Local Community Missions. Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Brookneal is assisting the family.
