Larry Wayne “Joe” Angel, 73, of Nathalie passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at home. He was the husband of the late Betty Fisher Angel. Joe was born in Campbell County, September 8, 1944, a son of the late William Lee Angel and Carolyn Booker Angel. He was a member of Brookneal Baptist Church and a retired farmer and carpenter. He is survived by his fiancée, Teresa Anderson; a son, Tony W. Angel; two sisters, Peggy Angel Crews, Kay Angel Hamlett (Louis) all of Nathalie. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Edwin, Jack, Jimmy, and Pete Angel; one sister, Margarette Davis. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018 at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. LeRoy Davis with interment to follow at the First Baptist Church of Republican Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and at his residence other times.
