Sending my deepest sympathies to the family of Lester Harvey, Jr. I worked with Lester and his Dad 30+ years ago in Amherst County where they made housing improvements for low wealth families. I have followed his continued efforts over the years, because it is my career path, and applaud the work he and his construction company perform to create safe, decent, affordable homes for those in need. In my eyes, he is an admired and accomplished man, indeed!

Kenny Rodgers, Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project, SERCAP. Praying for peace and comfort for all of Lester's family during this difficult time. Lester provided his skills as a contractor for many SERCAP housing projects and was great to work with and was good to our clients. We are truly sorry and sad for the families' loss.

Lester was a dear friend to us.have known him since he was a teenager.he and his uncle Joe added a beautiful addition to our home.he was always so kind and caring to both of us.he was a wonderful father and husband Prayers for april josh and Jaxen and all of his children you are all in our prayers
