Millard Benjamin Pillow, 90, of Phenix passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at home.
He was the husband of Carlyle Baines Pillow.
Mr. Pillow was born in Charlotte County, December 31, 1927, a son of the late Roy R. Pillow and Pearl Sublett Pillow. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church, a U. S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and a farmer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Jerry W. Pillow (Betty) of Phenix; four grandchildren, John Pillow (Jessica) of Phenix, Benjamin Pillow of St. Petersburg, Fla., Brittany P. Bradley (Heath), Emily P. Andrews (Patrick) all of Phenix; four great-grandchildren, Colton and Kaylee Pillow, Bran and Bryar Bradley; daughter-in-law, Rita Pillow Metcalf (Jeff) of Phenix; two brothers, Bernard Pillow of Phenix, Willis Pillow (Joyce) of Forest; four sisters, Dorothy Pillow of Richmond, Faye Pillow of Highland Springs, Vera Fleming (Bob) of Richmond, Alice Campbell of Highland Springs. He was preceded in death by a son, Robin C. Pillow; and a sister, Julia Collins.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Midway Baptist Church by the Rev. Chris Kesler with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the residence and in the church fellowship hall following the service.
