Myrtle Lois Wright Waller, 93, of Nathalie passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Brookneal. She was the wife of the late Woodley Z. Waller. Mrs. Waller was born in Pittsylvania County, June 1, 1921 daughter of the late Alba Robinson Wright and Lucy Ann Roach Wright. She was a member of Clover Bottom Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Woody L. Waller (Joan) of Halifax; a daughter, Eunice Doss (Frank) of Crescent City, FL; four grandchildren, Tim and Greg Doss, Bruce Waller (Stephanie), Teresa Whaley; six great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one sister, Pearl W. Martin of Brookneal. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Coleman Wright; two sisters, Florence Irby and Maude Martin. A funeral service will be conducted at 4:30 pm Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Clover Bottom Baptist Church by the Rev. Joe Lively and the Rev. Robert Simmons with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.
