Obituaries

Penny Francis Jordan, 52, of Nathalie passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at Lynchburg General Hospital.  She was the wife of Rayford Lynn Jordan. Penny was born in South Boston, March 7, 1962 daughter of Margaret Ann Coates Francis of Nathalie and the late Cordell Francis.  She was a member of West End Baptist Church and an employee of Sanfacon Co. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Lester Francis. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 26, 2014 at West End Baptist Church by the Rev. Larry Martin with interment to follow in Childrey Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence. Henderson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Brookneal is assisting the family.
